Fly culture technology

1. The maggot larva goes down the pond.

Use fresh pig manure 100kg, squeeze dung 20kg, squeeze dung according to the humidity ratio of pig manure, stir evenly, rake 1.5-2m2, sprinkle maggot seeds gently on the base material (in winter, squeeze dung about 3cm, do a good job of keeping warm.

2. The source of species flies.

The first batch of aseptic flies can be introduced from the demonstration base or cultivated by wild flies by themselves. The method is to sterilize the pupae produced by maggots or excavated pupae, and then select a large and full one (no big head flies) to feather them into a cage to become aseptic flies.

3. Separation of fly maggots

The separation methods of fly maggots include strong light irradiation separation, water separation, feeding separation, strong light screen separation and manual operation separation. We generally adopt the method of artificial separation, because fly maggots have the characteristics of negative phototaxis and like to drill into the matrix. Breeders can peel off the surface pig manure layer by layer with a broom, and a large number of maggots can be obtained at the bottom, and finally filtered with a ten-eye filter.

4. Seed fly room

It is required that the indoor air is fresh, the temperature is kept at 24-30 ℃, the relative humidity is 50%, the relative humidity is 70%, and the light is illuminated for more than 10 hours a day. There are fly cages, cage racks, temperature and hygrometers and heating exhaust air escape prevention and other equipment.
