Grass turtles do not lay eggs until they are sexually mature and need to be kept for about five years. Eggs are usually laid from May to August. Each female turtle lays eggs three to four times a year, laying five to seven eggs each time. After 50-80 days of natural hatching, the baby turtle comes out of its shell and can go into the water and live on its own.

Grass turtles are omnivorous animals, mainly small fish and shrimp (dried shrimp can be used), lean meat (note: do not eat fat, easy indigestion), small insects, rice, vegetables, fruits, turtle feed (eat less feed, mostly have additives) and so on.
