In recent years, with the national protection of wildlife and natural environment, more and more nature reserves have photographed precious wild animals. Recently, Lishui in Zhejiang Province took pictures of Sibuxiang for the first time! What don't those four look like? What level of animal protection is it? Let's take a look at it.

First, Lishui, Zhejiang took pictures of Sibuxiang for the first time!

On July 21, the Zhejiang Forestry Bureau reported that "Sibuxiang" was captured for the first time by infrared monitoring cameras in Liandu Fengyuan Nature Reserve in Lishui. Because the horned deer is not a deer, the hoof is not a cow, the head is not a sheep, the tail is not a donkey, the scientific name is the Chinese iguana (liere) antelope, it is a member of the bovine family and hyenas, and it is a key protected animal at the national Ⅱ level.

What kind of animals don't two or four look like?

1. Chinese hyena

The four photographed in Lishui do not refer to the Chinese hyena, whose horned deer is not deer, hooves are not cattle, head sheep are not sheep, and tail is not donkey, so it is also called "Sibuxiang".

It is mainly active in coniferous and broad-leaved mixed forest, coniferous forest or rocky mixed shrub forest at an altitude of 1000-4400 meters. They are usually in the forest belt in winter and move to cliff areas above sea level in summer. Live alone or in small groups, mostly in the morning and dusk, move quickly, and run quickly among the rocks. Distributed in Cambodia, China, Laos, Myanmar, Thailand, Vietnam.

two。 Milu deer

There is another kind of animal also known as "Sibuxiang", that is Milu deer. Because its head and face is like a horse, its horns are like a deer, its hooves are like an ox and its tail is like a donkey, so it is named Sibuxiang. Native to the marshes of the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River in China, it feeds on grass and aquatic plants. Gregarious, good at swimming, like to eat young grass and aquatic plants. Courtship estrus begins at the end of June and lasts for about 6 weeks. It was once widely distributed in East Asia. Later, due to natural climate change and man-made factors, it was nearly extinct at the end of the Han Dynasty.

Three and four are not like what level of animal protection?
