In the past, when it comes to agriculture, people often think of fields with bumper harvests, but now this impression is being partly replaced by "fun and good-looking". Whether they are bonsai root carvings of different shapes or the undulating terraces of the sea of flowers, they all send a message that when creative wisdom meets traditional agriculture, it will create an artistic spark, magnify the value of resources and show growth potential.

The potential comes not only from the expansion and optimization of the industry, but also from the improvement of the demand of external consumption. In essence, traditional agriculture mainly provides material products and creativity.

Agriculture focuses on providing spiritual enjoyment. This means that to develop creative agriculture, we need to find a breakthrough in the docking of the primary industry and the tertiary industry. How to find the right breakthrough? Judging from the existing practice, non-material cultural resources such as customs, history and culture in rural areas have contributed a large number of "golden ideas". Integrating these "golden ideas" into agricultural production and extending the development of characteristic creative industries not only improves the added value of agricultural products, but also meets the different needs of people for leisure and entertainment nowadays, and becomes a strategic opportunity for rural economy to "bend and overtake".

In fact, compared with developed countries, the development of creative agriculture in China is still in its infancy. Throughout the innovation practice in various places, there are not only successful cases such as the development of agricultural landscape, folk craftsmanship, miniature bonsai, but also places falling into the dilemma of simple creativity, copying blindly, and rushing into action. From this point of view, the development of creative agriculture should take measures in accordance with local conditions, step by step, make full use of scientific and technological means, explore cultural characteristics, and achieve "no one has me, others have my expertise", so as to realize the turn and take-off from "selling products" to "selling creativity".
