It can be planted in sandy soil and loam with high content of organic matter and humus at an average annual temperature of 13-18 ℃, especially in riverside, Guobian and Bei Yinshan. Seed planting is the main method of propagation, and it can also be planted with rhizome. After seed emergence, it is necessary to do a good job of seedling, seedling supplement, shade, ploughing, weeding, watering, fertilization, soil cultivation, bolting, pest control and so on.

1. Soil: it can be planted in sandy soil and loam with high content of organic matter and humus at an average annual temperature of 13-18 ℃, especially in riverside, riverside and back shade mountain. After selecting the plot, the soil should be prepared into a soil moisture of 120-150cm wide, apply sufficient basic fertilizer, and turn the hoe once to make the fertile soil uniform.

2. Reproduction: generally, it is mainly planted with seeds, and can also be planted with rhizomes.

(1) seed planting: direct seeding or seedling transplanting can be used. Direct seeding was carried out in mid and late May after soaking through rain. Before sowing, the seeds were sown with plant ash for 24 hours, and 2-3 seeds were sown in each pond. After sowing, the soil was covered with 2-3cm of fine manure and fine soil. The dry soil should be watered in time and germinated in 7-10 days. Seedling transplanting was carried out in the first ten days of April. After sowing, the seedlings were covered with soil 3cm, covered with fine dung 2cm, watered and covered with plastic film. The seedlings could emerge in 5-7 days, and could be transplanted after 1 month.

(2) Rhizome planting: in autumn and winter, the rhizome was dug and stored in sand in a cool and dry place, and was taken out in the first and middle of April of the following year. According to the characteristics of bud stump and bud scar, it was cut into small segments, and each section was guaranteed to take 1 bud scar. After cutting, it was properly dried and mixed with plant ash, planted in the seedling bed like sowing, covered with film, rooting and growing buds in 15-20 days, and transplanting to the field according to the direct seeding specifications in the middle and late May.

3. Management: it is necessary to do a good job in seedling intercropping, seedling replenishment, shading, ploughing, weeding, watering, fertilization, soil cultivation, bolting, pest control and so on.

(1) Interseedling, replenishing seedling and shading: interseedling is carried out in the direct seeding field in the middle and late May; seedlings are replenished during interseedling, and seedlings can be fully utilized when replenishing seedlings; shade should be given to the plant, and the transmittance of 40% / 50% should be used during the whole growth period. Therefore, shading measures should be taken after emergence and transplanting.

(2) Intermediate ploughing and weeding: there are many torrential rains from late May to early June, and the soil is easy to harden, so it is necessary to plough and loosen the soil in time, and pay attention to remove weeds at all times, and hoe frequently and shallowly to avoid root damage.

(3) watering, fertilizing and soil cultivation: the soil should be kept moist, watered in time in the dry season, sprayed at regular intervals, and drained in time in the rainy season; re-apply basic fertilizer before planting, top dressing once in early June, and then greatly cultivate the soil, the soil on cultivation must be loose.

(4) bolting: in order to reduce nutrient consumption and concentrate nutrients on underground tuber growth, when bolting occurs from May to June, all bolts should be cut off in time except seed.

(5) pest control: the main diseases are Rhizoctonia solani, Sclerotinia sclerotiorum, black spot, stem rot, etc., and the main insect pests are beetles, which should be controlled as soon as possible.
