Tobacco is divided into spring tobacco and summer tobacco. Spring tobacco is generally planted in spring, and can be sown in February and March. Southern summer tobacco is planted in April and May. However, due to regional climate differences, its planting time is also different. For example, tobacco planting time in Guangdong and Fujian is generally in September and October.

Tobacco cultivation management:

1. Soil management

Different soil quality will affect the quality of tobacco. Planting tobacco generally choose sticky heavy, humus content moderate field.

2. Temperature management

Tobacco is temperature-sensitive and prefers warm environments. The most suitable temperature for growing tobacco is between 25℃ and 30℃. Too high a temperature can slow the growth of tobacco plants and make the leaves tough. Low temperatures cause tobacco to develop abnormally.

3. Water management

Tobacco leaves are large and transpiration is strong, so it needs a lot of water supply during its growth process. We need to keep the plants hydrated while growing tobacco.

4. Fertilization management

In the early stage, nitrogen fertilizer was mainly used, combined with phosphorus fertilizer and potassium fertilizer. In the middle and late stages, there is a lack of fertilizer, so fertilization needs to be applied by foliar spraying. Fertilization is combined with flood prevention, weed removal and soil loosening to enhance permeability in the field.

Tobacco planting process needs to grasp the planting time and growth process of all aspects of the impact of factors, so as to plant good tobacco.
