Dichlorvos has been produced for many years. Today, with the increasingly fierce competition in the pesticide market, dichlorvos still has an undiminished elegant demeanor. So what are the main uses of dichlorvos?

It is effective against the pests of chewing mouthparts and piercing mouthparts. It can be used for vegetables, fruit trees and a variety of farmland crops. It is suitable for pest control on wheat, rice, cotton, green vegetables, mulberry, apple and other plants, as well as in warehouses and sanitary pests.

Dichlorvos, also known as DDVP, the scientific name OMagol-dimethyl-O-(2-dichlorovinyl) phosphate, a kind of organophosphorus insecticide, the molecular formula C4H7Cl2O4P. An organophosphorus insecticide, industrial products are colorless to light brown liquid, pure product boiling point 74 ℃ (under 133.322Pa) volatile, solubility in water at room temperature 1%, solubility in kerosene 2% 3%, soluble in organic solvents, easy hydrolysis, faster decomposition in alkali. The LD50 value of acute toxicity was 56~80mg/kg in oral and 75~210mg/kg in rats.

On October 27, 2017, the World Health Organization's International Agency for Research on Cancer released a preliminary list of carcinogens for reference. Dichlorvos was included in the list of class 2B carcinogens.
