Treatment of traumatic injury of cultured masked palm civet

Fruit beavers are in the middle, and fights and bites often occur, resulting in trauma. If trauma is not detected and treated in time, it will cause infection and suppuration. The clinical symptoms included ① fresh wound flesh cracking, bleeding, pain and dysfunction of tissues and organs, and severe systemic symptoms such as pale mucosa, weak pulse, shortness of breath and so on. ② infection fresh wound caused by pathogenic microorganism infection, plane and its surrounding swelling, warming, pain, suppuration, sometimes there is pus scab, if pus discharge is not smooth, can develop into honeycomb tissue inflammation, serious infection, will cause systemic sepsis, resulting in the death of sick beaver. For the treatment of trauma, ① fresh wound can clean the local area, cover the wound with sterilized gauze, cut off the hair and blood scab around the wound, disinfect it with 70% alcohol or 2% iodine tincture, and wash the surrounding skin with soapy water disinfectant. Then wash the foreign body and effusion on the wound with normal saline, remove the necrotic tissue, and sprinkle penicillin powder, anti-inflammatory powder or iodoform sulfonamide powder (1:8) on the wound. The wound can be partially sutured, and the drainage port is set up to bandage the wound. ② should enlarge the wound, remove pus and foreign bodies, remove necrotic tissue, rinse the wound cavity with 3% hydrogen peroxide, 0.2% potassium permanganate or 3% boric acid solution, use hypertonic saline or sulfa emulsion (5 grams of aminobenzenesulfonamide, 30 grams of cod liver oil, 65 milliliters of distilled water), iodine sulfonate emulsion (10 grams of iodoform, 10 grams of sulfonamide, 100 grams of cod liver oil) for wound drainage without bandaging. ⑧ bleeding too much should be blood transfusion, fluid replacement, serious injury, serious infection, should be injected with antibiotics anti-inflammatory, if necessary, should be cardiotonic detoxification.
