1. Pathogen

Carp oblique tube worm, rotifer.

2. Symptoms

Both worms are parasitic on the skin and gills of fish, stimulating the secretion of a large amount of mucus, resulting in the formation of a light blue film on the skin surface of diseased fish (oblique trichomoniasis) or a layer of albino on the fin, head and body surface (rotifer). The diseased fish lose appetite, become thin and black, float on the surface or lie on the side, swim slowly, pull over, have difficulty breathing, and even die.

3. Prevention and control methods

① for fish found to be parasitized by vascular worms and rotifers before entering the pool, bathe for 15 minutes with 8 mg / L aqueous solution of copper sulfate or a mixture of copper sulfate and ferrous sulfate (5:2) for 15 minutes, or 2%-4% salt water for 5 minutes for 10 minutes.

When both diseases occur during ② overwintering, the mixture of copper sulfate and ferrous sulfate (5:2) can be sprinkled all over the pool to make the pool water at a concentration of 0.7mg / L.

③ per mu of water depth 1.5m with neem leaves (fruit), Pinus massoniana, camphor leaves each 5kg, boiled into juice 50kg, the whole pool sprinkled, once a day for three consecutive days. Or use eucalyptus 20 kg, boil juice with 100 kg of water, sprinkle in the whole pool, once a day for 3-4 days.
