Pond requirements: it is necessary to select ponds with low quality loam, hard slope soil, good water retention and easy control of water level, with an area of about 3-5 mu. Water quality requirements: the water body of cultured river shrimp can choose the water body of cultured fish, and the base fertilizer can be used to fertilize the pond water. the food source of shrimp fry in the first month is plankton in the pond. Culture methods: at present, the most common ways of cultivating river shrimp are intensive culture in ponds and mixed culture of shrimp and rice, which can be selected according to their own conditions.

The reasonable degree of pond construction directly determines the success of culture and the level of yield. The shrimp pond needs to choose the pond whose bottom material is loam, the slope soil is hard, the water retention is good and the water level is easy to control. In general, river shrimp can be cultured in ponds and water bodies suitable for fish culture. Sandy soil cannot be burrowed, so shrimp cannot be raised. At present, there are two main modes of river shrimp culture: intensive culture and shrimp rice culture.

1. Construction of intensive ponds

In the construction of intensive culture ponds, attention must be paid to the slope of the ponds, which is generally the most suitable for the construction of intensive culture ponds. If the pond is larger, a ridge can be built every 3-5 mu to encourage shrimp to drill holes to increase shrimp production.

2. Construction of shrimp-rice ponds

For better flood control, it is necessary to choose rice fields with wide ridges. A 1-1.5m platform should be left between the ridge and the return ditch of the paddy field. The height of this platform can prevent span and facilitate shrimp fishing. The width of the paddy field is more than 2.5m, the ridge height is 60-1.3m, and the width of the ditch is 3-5m. The width of the pond is 2m, the height of the pond is more than 1.5m, and the slope ratio is 1VR 6m.

Six key steps of river shrimp culture

1. Pond requirements. Choose shrimp ponds or freshwater ponds with an area of 3-5 mu, water depth of 1.5-2.5 m, no pollution and sufficient water source, and the bottom of loam pond.

2. Cultivate bait and fertilize. One week before stocking, the influent 30cm was filtered with 60-80 mesh sieve, and 50 kg fermented livestock and poultry manure or 5 kg urea per mu were applied to cultivate the basic bait for shrimp fry.

3. Put in shrimp seedlings. Shrimp fry are usually released in late May when the water temperature is 18-20 ℃. Shrimp seedlings need to be desalinated for more than 7 days before entering the pond, and the specific gravity is less than 1.003. The density is 30-40 000 shrimps with a physique of 0.7-1.0cm per mu. If the size is below 0.7cm, it needs to be reared temporarily. 80-150 silver carp fingerlings of 10-20cm can be cultured in shrimp ponds.

4. Feed. In the first month after entering the pond, the shrimp seedlings are mainly fed with plankton in the pond and basically do not need to be fed with formula feed. Feed the compound feed after 1 month in the pond, and add some fresh fish and shellfish as appropriate. The amount of feed is generally 3-5% of the body weight of shrimps. July-September, on the premise that there is no remaining bait, the amount of feed can be increased appropriately. The feeding times were 2-3 times per day, and the daily feeding amount was 1 beat 3 of the total feed in the day, and the feeding amount in the evening was 2 prime 3.

5. Water quality control. After 10 days of stocking, slowly add water, adding 10-15cm of water every week. Change the water every 2-3 days in the high temperature season, 20-30cm each time. Every 15 days or so, use 5-10 kg of quicklime per mu and sprinkle the whole pond after pulping, which can not only sterilize and promote the shelling and growth of shrimp seedlings, but also regulate the bottom quality of water quality, killing two birds with one stone. At the same time, 15-20 days after release, the bait should be mixed with 1-3 ‰ garlic and fed continuously for 3-5 days.

6. start to catch and go on the market. Usually the shrimp can be caught and put on the market for sale when the length of shrimp reaches about 7-10cm after 80-100 days of culture. When starting to catch, you can release water to catch, or you can use a net to catch. Dry transportation can be taken 36 hours after leaving the water body, and the survival rate is as high as 90%.
