The environment in which cockfighting grows should be free of irritating and volatile gases, be sure to have a suitable temperature, should not be too cold or overheated, strengthen ventilation to the chicken house in the later stage, and observe the eating, drinking water and feces of cockfighting in the process of cockfighting feeding, and if any abnormal situation is found, it should be dealt with in time.

I. ventilation in a timely manner

When the temperature is low in winter, we generally pay attention to keeping warm but not ventilated, and when maintaining good ventilation, the cockfighting is lively and active, and there is no peculiar smell in the cockfighting house. When it is found that the cockfighting has breathing and wilting, the smell is very strong and the dust is flying. It is necessary to strengthen ventilation in time, and be careful not to blow directly to the cockfighting when ventilating.

Second, it is necessary to ensure a suitable temperature

When raising fighting cocks, the temperature is very critical. Generally speaking, if you look at the degree of dispersion, you can find the temperature. When the fighting cocks are far away from the heat source and are scattered in groups, it means that the temperature is on the high side. When the density of fighting cocks is high, it means that the temperature is on the low side, and you can also check the indoor thermometer. You can quickly know the temperature. If the temperature of the thermometer is not in line with the appropriate temperature, measures should be taken to raise or cool down in time. The temperature needs to be controlled within a reasonable range.

Third, adjust the humidity.

The high humidity of the chicken house will lead to the reproduction of microorganisms, while the low humidity of the chicken house is too dry, the chicken fighting will easily get respiratory diseases, and the long-term dry environment will cause dehydration and weakness of the chicks, so the adjustment of the humidity of the chicken fighting house is very important.

Attention should be paid to preventing the harm of harmful gases

1. Ammonia is an irritating and volatile gas. If there is a large amount of ammonia in the place where the fighting chicken lives, and there is a smell of ammonia when entering the fighting house, it means that the ammonia in the fighting house has already exceeded the standard.

2. Carbon monoxide is an odorless gas, especially in cockfighting houses with useful coal stoves, it is necessary to prevent farmers and chickens from carbon monoxide poisoning.

3. Hydrogen sulfide will volatilize the smell of rotten eggs, which generally accumulates on the ground, and the closer it is to the ground, the higher its concentration is. The smell of hydrogen sulfide can be smelled in the place where the chicken house is relatively high, which means that the hydrogen sulfide in the chicken house has seriously exceeded the standard.

If the surface of copper utensils gradually blackens, there are white deposits on the surface of galvanized iron, or black art pigments slowly fade, when these changes occur, you can judge whether there is too much hydrogen sulfide in the air, and when these three harmful gases are excessive, timely measures should be taken to appropriately increase ventilation and replace cushions, so as to reduce the harm to cockfighting.

Fifth, pay attention to the state of feces in time.

The feces of healthy cockfights are soft and light gray strips, and there are some white urates on them. If there is blood in the feces and the color changes greatly, it means that the cockfighting has signs of disease. Infectious bronchitis and infectious bursal disease will cause the cockfighting faeces to be yellow and white. When the cockfighting suffers from Newcastle disease, yellow-white and green water faeces will be excreted, and when there are blood stools in the cockfighting house, it means that the cockfighting is infected with coccidiosis. When you have these symptoms, you should find sick chickens and carry out isolation treatment.

6. Have reasonable light

Cockfighting in addition to the need for light, its laying hens also need a certain amount of light, during the period should also pay attention to the size of the light.

Pay attention to abnormal sounds

Healthy chickens don't make abnormal sounds, while sick cockfights cough, which means they have chronic respiratory disease and infectious bronchitis, as well as Newcastle disease.

8. Quarantine sick chickens in time

During the growth period of chicken fighting, no matter whether they are chicks, breeding chickens and laying hens, there will be a small number of thin chickens who die for various reasons, which is a normal phenomenon. In general, the mortality rate of chicks is not more than 0.05%, that of breeding chickens is not more than 0.01%, and that of laying hens is not more than 0.03%. If there are a large number of dead chickens, isolation treatment should be carried out in time.
