Last Updated: 2024/11/08, It is reported that in 2015, edible fungi and vegetables in Lishui City, Zhejiang Province, were exported to South Korea through inspection and quarantine, with a value of 14.4 million US dollars, a decrease of 56 percent over the same period last year, and more than half of the export value of 32.78 million US dollars in the same period last year. It is reported that in 2015, edible fungi and vegetables in Lishui City, Zhejiang Province, were exported to South Korea through inspection and quarantine, with a value of 14.4 million US dollars, a decrease of 56 percent over the same period last year, and more than half of the export value of 32.78 million US dollars in the same period last year.

At present, South Korea has achieved a higher tariff rate on China's edible mushroom exports, such as 30% tariff on black fungus and 40% tariff on Lentinus edodes, resulting in high market prices of edible mushrooms. In view of this, in recent years, South Korean edible mushroom enterprises have imported a large number of raw materials such as Chinese mushroom sticks, set up their own edible mushroom bases in their own country, realized "import" to "self-production", evaded high tariffs, and made orders return one after another. However, it is worth mentioning that with the implementation of the free trade agreement between China and South Korea, South Korea's exports of Auricularia auricula to China have been reduced by 1.5% a year, which will be reduced to zero within 20 years, but Auricularia auricula accounts for only 1% of the edible fungi exported to South Korea. And 30% of shiitake mushrooms have no tariff relief.

In view of the current "cold winter" of Lishui agricultural products exported to South Korea, Lishui Inspection and Quarantine Bureau will continue to do a good job in assistance services and supervision and management to promote the sustained and stable development of edible fungus export.
