II. Pest control of camphor trees

① camphor leaf wasp. The first ten days of May and the first ten days of June are the first and second larval stages, feeding on tender leaves. Control method: 2000 times of 90% crystal trichlorfon or 50% marathon emulsion can be sprayed, or water 75~100kg can be sprayed with goatflower or Tripterygium wilfordii powder 0.5kg.

② longicorn beetle. It mainly harms the main branches and lateral branches, using artificial killing, or filling the excretory hole with dichlorvos.

③ camphor tip leaf roll moth. It occurs for several generations a year, and the larvae eat the tender shoots. Control method: after the camphor tree shoots in March, the first generation larvae were sprayed with 1000 times of 50% dibromophosphorus emulsion and 50% marathon emulsion once every 5 days for 2 or 3 times in a row. The larvae can also be sprayed with 40% dimethoate 200: 300 times. During the pupation of a large number of larvae, the nursery or small area of woodland can collect litter and burn them in winter, and combine with tending to weed and cultivate the soil in the woodland and kill the pupae.

④ camphor nest borer. There are two generations in a year, and the first generation larva stage is from the end of May to the middle of July. The larvae feed on the leaf buds on the new shoots and spin silk to cover the terminal buds, resulting in the death of the new shoots and even the death of the whole plant. Control method: when the second generation larvae have not yet formed a net nest, spray 90% crystal trichlorfon 4000 ~ 5000 times liquid. If the net nest has been formed, it can be removed and burned manually.
