Planting techniques of Bupleurum Bupleurum planting time and methods
In the past, due to the lack of material information, people's treatment methods for diseases were relatively rough, and traditional Chinese medicine was also the first choice for everyone. Therefore, the mining of Chinese herbal medicines that could play a better therapeutic effect was relatively serious, and Bupleurum chinense was one of them.
Bupleurum chinense planting technique
1. Land selection and preparation: Bupleurum chinense was originally wild. In recent years, due to insufficient medicinal resources caused by mining, it was planted wild at home. Choose sandy loam or humus soil hillside terrace cultivation, not clay and easy to ponding plot planting. If you are sowing on reclaimed land, you should clear the stones from the field. branches, etc. Before sowing, apply enough base fertilizer, apply about 22500 kg of circle fertilizer per hectare, 75 kg of calcium superphosphate, evenly spread into ploughing 25~30 cm, and then carefully rake flat, make flat ridge with 100-130 cm width or high ridge with 30 cm width for sowing.
2. Breeding methods
Reproduction by seed can be done directly or after seedling transplantation. Large-area production with direct seeding, seed germination rate of about 50%, temperature at about 20℃, there is enough humidity, 7 days after sowing can emerge, if the temperature is lower than 20℃, it takes more than 10 days to emerge.
① Direct seeding: sowing before freezing in winter or spring. Spring sowing is carried out from late March to early April. Before sowing, it should be boiled thoroughly, and the water should seep down. The sloping land should be drilled at a row spacing of 17-20 cm. The ditch is 1.8 cm deep, evenly sprinkled into the seed hand, covered with 0.7~1 cm soil, about 22.5 kg seeds per hectare, often keep the soil moist, about 10~12 days to emerge.
② Seedling: seedling transplanting, selecting sunny bed, sowing in March to April, drilling or evenly sowing, drilling row spacing of 10 cm, drawing small shallow grooves, evenly sowing seeds into grooves, covering soil tightly. A little pressure, with a watering can of wine, or first to the bed of the Yangqi irrigation, after the water seeps down again after sowing. After the seeds are evenly removed, a layer of fine soil is screened with bamboo sieve to cover the ridge surface, and the sowing ridge is covered with plastic film or covered with a layer of straw curtain, which is beneficial to heat preservation and moisture retention, and can accelerate seed germination.
③ Transplanting: When the seedling height is 7 cm, the seedling with soil block can be dug and planted in the field. The row spacing is 17~20 cm and the plant spacing is 7~10 cm. After planting, water should be watered in time. When the transplanted seedling produces new newspaper and the leaves begin to expand, soil should be easily planted once. The key to high yield is to preserve soil moisture and seedlings.
Bupleurum planting time and method
Bupleurum chinense is mainly propagated by seeds. Generally, it can be sown in winter and spring, but it is better to sow in winter. The early emergence of spring is uniform. Winter sowing should be carried out from November to early December. The seed amount per mu is 3~4 kg. Before sowing, seed treatment should be done. Bupleurum chinense seeds are small. Put proper amount of washing powder into them. After gently scrubbing, wash the washing powder with clean water and dry them for sowing. When sowing, fine loess and plant ash can be used to mix the seeds well, and then broadcast them.
Sowing methods can be used in two ways: trenching and sowing or sowing. When trenching and sowing, fertilizer can be put into the ditch first. When sowing seeds, the cover soil should not be too thick, and the soil alone should not exceed 0.5 inches thick. Sowing can be done on the level ground, mixed seeds can be evenly spread on the surface of the field, artificial shallow cover can be used after sowing, the field after sowing can be irrigated with water, soil can be filled, and the field can be properly suppressed. After spring can emerge, spring sowing method is the same as winter sowing, but need to cover grass moisture.
The environment of Bupleurum chinense
Bupleurum is often wild in mountainous areas below 1 500 meters above sea level, barren slopes in hills, grass, roadside, forest edge and forest gap. Adaptability is strong, like a little cold and humid climate, more able to cold, drought, avoid high temperature and waterlogging depression water.
The seed of Bupleurum chinense L. has a physiological afterripening phenomenon, stratification treatment can promote afterripening, but under dry condition, after 4-5 months can also complete the afterripening process. The optimum temperature for germination is 15~25℃, the germination rate can reach 50%~60%, the seed life is 1 year, and the optimum temperature for plant growth is 20~25℃.
Harvesting and processing of Bupleurum chinense
Collection of stems, seeds and medicinal roots of Bupleurum chinense. For the collection of stems and seeds, when the seeds appear yellow and black, and the leaves are all withered, the stems and seeds can be cut off together, threshed, dried separately, properly preserved, and sold later. The collection of medicinal roots should generally be carried out after two years. The collected medicinal roots can be dug up manually. All medicinal roots can be dug out, and cannot be directly pulled out to prevent root cutting from affecting the yield to increase income. The medicinal roots should be sorted and arranged, and the size is consistent and tidy. Tie them into small handles. Dry and sell.
At present, due to the lack of wild Bupleurum resources, but the demand for Bupleurum has not decreased, in recent years, the market price of Bupleurum is also constantly rising, in the current planting Bupleurum should be an important profitable industry, but still need growers to spend a lot of energy.
