Tulips I believe we are very familiar with, many people like to buy tulips to give people, its moral is very beautiful, and beautiful flowers, rich and colorful colors, with a very high ornamental value. Tulip is also a famous bulb flower, which is propagated mainly by planting bulbs, so how to cultivate and sprout tulip bulbs?

Planting method of Tulip bulb

1. Buy carbendazim, take it apart and pour half of it into a basin and dilute it with two bottles of pure water. The diluted water can be saved to water the flowers.

2. Remove the skin of the tulip bulb and soak it in carbendazim for about an hour. In this step, you should pay attention to the color distinction of the seed ball.

3. After soaking, take out the seed ball and put it flat to dry.

4. Introduce 1/3 of the soil into the flowerpot, spread it evenly, and then insert the seed ball into it. If you are worried about spilling the soil, you can spread the newspaper on the bottom of the basin in advance.

5. After the seed ball is evenly inserted, pour the remaining soil into it and smooth it out. It is better for the soil to reach about 2/3 of the basin, not full.

When will the tulip bulbs be planted

Tulips belong to bulbous flowers. It is usually planted from September to October in autumn.

Tulip bulbs must go through a certain stage of low temperature before they can blossom. In the place of origin, because there is generally enough low temperature time in winter, the tulip bulb can get enough low temperature treatment time, so it can blossom naturally in spring. Tulip has the characteristics of dormancy in summer, rooting and sprouting in autumn and winter, but not unearthed. It needs to expand and grow to form stems and leaves in the first ten days of February (temperature above 5 ℃) after low temperature in winter, and bloom from March to April. The suitable temperature for growth and flowering is 15-20 ℃.

How to preserve the bulbs of tulips

Don't take out the bulbs immediately after the flowers fade, wait for the stems and leaves to decay naturally. The specific methods are as follows:

1. Pruning. After the flower fades, cut it 2-3 cm below the flower. Keep the leaves and don't cut them too long.

2. Maintenance. Water normally and apply a small amount of fertilizer. Pay attention to rainy days, do not wind and rain, so as not to rot the roots. Stop water and fertilizer in September, put the plant in the shade and dormancy naturally.

3. Storage. All the leaves and stems turn yellow in October. Dig out the bulbs before the rainy season, remove all the stems and leaves that you want to keep up with, and be careful not to hurt the bulbs.

You can find a large box filled with sand, put a layer of plastic film on the bottom to avoid leakage, put the bulb in, put the box in a cool and dry place, leave the box open and open. The soil in the box should not be too dry, but spray some water appropriately. Or take out the bulbs and wrap them in a thick layer of newspaper and put them in the freezer.

In November, take out the bulb and buy it into the ground. Don't put it in the sun at first, but a week later, move to the sun and take care of it normally.

Reasons for the non-germination of tulip bulbs

1. Insufficient depth:

It is very likely that the depth of planting is not enough, the method of deep planting must be used when planting, the depth is generally 15 centimeters under the soil, that is to say, the seeds of tulips should be covered with 15 centimeters of soil.

2. No sunshade:

When planting without blocking the sun, direct sunlight has a very adverse effect on the growth and development of tulip seeds.
