Temperature: the suitable temperature is between 25 and 30 ℃. Light: 2000-2500 hours of sunshine throughout the year can meet the growth needs. Moisture: the annual precipitation is more than 1500 tons, and the soil water holding capacity is about 60% and 80%. Soil: it is suitable for sandy soil and clay with pH value between 5.5 and 7.8, and the loose, fertile and moist slightly acidic soil is better. Wind: avoid dry hot wind and strong wind.

I. temperature

1. Nelumbo nucifera likes warm and hates cold. Generally, the suitable temperature for growth is 25-30 ℃. When the temperature is below 10 ℃, it is easy to cause growth pause or delay.

When the temperature is less than 8 ℃, it is easy to cause flowers and fruits to fall off. When the lotus fog is at extremely low temperature at-4 ℃, it will appear obvious cold injury, which is easy to cause lotus fog to freeze.

3. In the growth and fruiting stage, the daily temperature is 25-30 ℃ and the night temperature is 18-22 ℃. The temperature in flowering and young fruit stage is high, and the lotus flower usually produces high yield and high quality.

4. in addition, lotus fog is more sensitive to frost, and the low temperature weather lasts for 3-5 days, so lotus fog is mostly planted in winter and spring, and heat preservation measures are adopted to prevent cold.

Second, lighting

The main results are as follows: 1. Lotus fog likes light, and 2000-2500 hours of sunshine throughout the year can meet the basic lighting requirements, which is conducive to promoting flowering and coloring and improving quality.

2. when the light is insufficient, it is easy to cause poor coloring of the fruit, grow branches and leaves, and breed diseases and insect pests; when the light is too strong, it is easy to burn the fruit, and proper pruning can control the light.

Third, moisture

The main results are as follows: 1. Lotus is afraid of both drought and stagnant water, and likes high-yield and multi-fruit in high-temperature and humid environment. when there is too little water, the lack of water in the budding period will delay the germination and grow into weak seedlings.

2. Water shortage in flowering stage will shorten flowering period, flower bud differentiation will affect fruit setting rate; water shortage in development period will lead to poor fruit quality; long-term drought will lead to fruit cracking in case of showers, and long-term severe water shortage will lead to wilting of branches and leaves and death.

3. When there is too much water, it will affect the flowering and fruit and reduce the quality, and induce a variety of diseases and insect disasters, and when it is serious, it is easy to rot and die, so we should pay attention to drainage and irrigation and should not be planted in low-lying and water-prone areas.

4. The water content of lotus fruit should exceed 90%, and the average water content of branches, leaves, roots and other organs should exceed 50%.

5. The annual precipitation of Lianwu should be more than 1500 tons, which is beneficial to growth and development. For areas with insufficient or uneven rainfall, water conservancy facilities should be built to ensure water supply.

6. The soil water holding capacity of lotus flower is 60%, 80%, which is the most suitable, which can promote root nutrient absorption and water transport.

IV. Soil

Lotus fog can be planted in sandy soil, clay and other soils with a pH value of 5.5-7.8, especially in loose, fertile, slightly humid soil; in soils with heavy clay, too thin soil layer, or high groundwater level and excessive acid and alkali, soil improvement must be carried out before lotus fog can be planted.

The main results are as follows: (1) for the soil with serious barren soil layer, we should first improve the soil fertility, such as planting green manure, increasing the application of organic fertilizer and so on.

(2) for the soil whose pH value is lower than 5.5, it is necessary to improve soil acidity and soil physical properties, and appropriate amount of lime or dolomite powder can be applied to stimulate activity and increase mineral availability.

(3) for the soil whose pH value is higher than 7.8, sodium ions which are not beneficial to the soil should be replaced first, and appropriate amount of gypsum can be applied combined with irrigation and leaching.

(4) in severe alkalization, other chemicals can be used in addition to gypsum, such as phosphogypsum, sulfur, phosphogypsum, aluminum potassium sulfate, phosphogypsum, ferrous sulfate, etc.

5. Wind

The main results are as follows: (1) the breeze under normal conditions is beneficial to the gas exchange in the planting land, enhance photosynthesis and nutrient accumulation, and reduce diseases and insect pests.

(2) the breeze with strong light is beneficial to reduce the leaf temperature to prevent the leaf from sunburn.

(1) dry and hot winds or strong winds during flowering are not conducive to pollination, such as tropical storm areas, often hit by strong winds and tropical storms, damage to branches and leaves lead to fruit drop, and in serious cases, they are uprooted by roots. it can be seen that high-quality lotus fog should be planted in shelter from the wind and toward the sun.
