The difference between butachlor and Prochlor
Butachlor and propachlor are common herbicides on the market, and many people do not know how to choose when weeding. Let's take a look at the difference between butachlor and propachlor.
Introduction of butachlor
Butachlor is a selective pre-bud herbicide. Annual Gramineae weeds and some broad-leaved weeds mainly used for direct seeding or transplanting paddy fields. It is also selective for wheat, barley, sugar beet, cotton, peanuts and cabbage crops. The effective dose is 1.0-4.5kg (active ingredient) per hectare. It is generally used as soil surface treatment before budding and can also be used after paddy field seedlings. it is an important variety of herbicide in paddy field.
The application of butachlor in dry field needs to be applied under the condition of soil wetting. It can control annual Gramineae weeds and some dicotyledonous weeds such as barnyardgrass, Patrinia communis, Setaria angustifolia, Euphorbia angustifolia, Hedyotis diffusa, etc. It is suitable for weeding in cabbage, bean, radish, cabbage, eggplant, spinach and other vegetable fields.
II. Introduction of Prochlor
Prochlor is a pre-bud herbicide, which is mainly used to control Gramineae weeds. The product is a 2-acetyltianiline herbicide, which is a cell division inhibitor and can be used in soil treatment to control paspalum grass, special-shaped sedge, cow felt, Hedyotis diffusa, alisma orientalis and so on. It is usually used 3-5 days before transplanting. When it is applied alone, it has poor selectivity for wet-cutting rice, and it has excellent selectivity for direct-cutting rice when it is used together with trimethoprim. If the mixture of this product and trimethoprim is used with 600+200gai/ha, it has more than 90% effect on Hedyotis diffusa, special-shaped sedge, apical flower, fluttering grass, etc., and 100% control effect on Radix Rehmanniae.
Prochlor is suitable for rice to control 1-year-old Gramineae and broad-leaved weeds such as barnyardgrass, bald paspalum, gold, bovine gluten, cow felt, narrow leaf alisma, water amaranth, special-shaped sedge, broken rice sedge, lilac polygonum, Hedyotis diffusa and so on.
