Pepper is an essential side dish in the process of cooking. People who have experience in growing pepper know that pepper seedlings are not tolerant to low temperature. So, how to grow chili seeds indoors in winter?

1. Before soaking and accelerating germination, the seeds were sterilized and disinfected, put in 50 ℃-55 ℃ hot water, soaked in constant temperature for 15-20 minutes, and stirred continuously. When the water temperature dropped, hot water was added to keep the water temperature between 50 ℃-55 ℃, and 20 minutes later, cold water was added to drop to 20 ℃-30 ℃. Soak in 10% trisodium phosphate solution for 20 minutes, rinse with clean water, disinfect the seeds, and put them in about 25 ℃ water. After that, soak at room temperature for about 12 hours, and then soak the seeds to accelerate germination.

2. After soaking and absorbing enough water, wrap it with gauze, scrub it with soap, rinse with clean water and drain, or use a washing machine to dry the bucket for 1 minute and put it in a container such as an earthen basin.

3. Wet towels that should be covered and twisted up and down the seeds should be placed on the hot Kang or greenhouse flue to promote germination, and it is better to put them in the thermostat if possible.

4. The suitable temperature for sprouting is 28 ℃-30 ℃. In order to make the seeds heated evenly, turn them up and down twice a day, and the towels covered above and below must be kept moist and permeable.

5. Wash it 1-2 times a day before budding. After 4-5 days, the bud can reach about 70%. When the bud is 1 mm long, it can be sown on the same day.

The suitable temperature for pepper germination is 25-30 ℃, and the temperature above 35 ℃ or below 10 ℃ is not good or can not germinate. Therefore, when you plant chili peppers indoors in winter, you must cover with film or straw to keep warm, and keep the indoor temperature appropriate.
