II. Matters needing attention in planting Dendrobium huoshan

1. Fertilizer

Huoshan Dendrobium fertilization is divided into organic fertilizer and inorganic fertilizer, with organic fertilizer as the main base fertilizer, combined with spraying page fertilizer during the growing period, organic fertilizer mainly includes silkworm manure, sheep manure, cake fertilizer, etc.; inorganic fertilizer has controlled release fertilizer and aqueous solution fertilizer (containing nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium, etc.). Water soluble fertilizer was applied before and after the Qingming Festival for the first time, and then sprayed every 10 days until August; controlled release fertilizer was applied in early April and June respectively, and 3 ‰ potassium dihydrogen phosphate was sprayed every 10 days after autumn, a total of 3 to 5 times.

2. Temperature

The temperature of Dendrobium Huoshan begins to grow at 14 ℃; the temperature is 20 ℃ to 28 ℃ and the air humidity is above 70%; when the air temperature is above 32 ℃ and the relative temperature is below 20%, part of the leaf veins turn yellow and the leaves droop.

3. Shading

Huoshan Dendrobium is suitable to grow in half-shaded and half-sunny places, especially afraid of exposure to the sun. Two layers of 90% shading net are needed in summer and autumn, and one layer of shading net is used in other seasons.
