Black wolfberry is very popular in recent years, compared with the common red wolfberry, black wolfberry contains a lot of anthocyanins, so it is very popular and the price is relatively high. So will the price of black wolfberry go up in 2020? What are the planting prospects?

Will the price of black wolfberry go up in 2020?

In 2019, the price of black Chinese wolfberry decreased significantly, the production of black Chinese wolfberry increased in Qinghai, Shaanxi, Gansu, Xinjiang and other places, and the price decreased in different degrees.

Qinghai is currently the largest artificially cultivated black wolfberry area. since black wolfberry became popular, the planting area of Qinghai black wolfberry has exceeded 100000 mu. And because of its high altitude, large temperature difference between day and night and long sunshine time, it can be said that the quality produced in the producing area of black wolfberry is the best. The price of black wolfberry is about 400 yuan per kilogram for small grains, 500 yuan for medium grains and 600 yuan for large grains. But prices fell by 80% in 2019 compared with 2015.

The planting area of black wolfberry in Gansu is about 250 million mu, but the taste is slightly bitter, and the content of anthocyanin is slightly lower than that in other areas, so the price is relatively cheap, about 160,280,330yuan per kilogram of small, medium and large grains. Prices have doubled since 2015.

Although the price of black Chinese wolfberry has declined to a certain extent, it is expected that the price of black Chinese wolfberry may not continue to decline in 2020. On the one hand, because of the enhancement of people's awareness of health preservation, the so-called "people have no choice but to soak Chinese wolfberry in an insulation cup", which tells a lot of people's love for Chinese wolfberry, and black Chinese wolfberry is one of the best, or more popular. Coupled with the decline in the price of black Chinese wolfberry, so that many people with ordinary conditions can afford black Chinese wolfberry, do not have to look at the high price and do not dare to buy, so there are still prospects for planting, although prices decline, profits decline, but sales may rise.

II. Planting techniques

1. Colonization: when the average soil temperature at the depth of 5 cm is more than 12 ℃, it begins to be planted in the first and middle of April. The planting hole is 30 cm deep and 30 cm in diameter, and the topsoil and subsoil are stacked respectively. When the soil is backfilled, the topsoil is filled below and the subsoil is filled above, and the planting pit is excavated according to the size of the seedlings.

two。 Watering: the seedling is irrigated immediately before and after planting, the irrigation amount is 30 cubic meters per mu, and once after 15 days, once every 25-30 days after the seedlings are fully survived, the total amount of water used before flowering does not exceed 40 cubic meters per mu, the total amount of water used during flowering and fruit period does not exceed 120 cubic meters per mu, and the total amount of water used during the whole growth period does not exceed 400 cubic meters per mu.

3. Fertilization: 30 kg / mu of compound fertilizer was applied with base fertilizer, and 5 kg / mu of urea was applied after one month of seedling survival, and 20-25 kg / mu of phosphorus and potassium fertilizer was applied at flowering and fruiting stage. the total amount of fertilizer applied during the whole growth period was not more than 60 kg / mu.

4. Weeding: after the seedlings are fully survived, use bamboo poles or cement piles to pull the wire to fix the seedlings in order to cultivate the tree shape; to prevent fruit sticking to the ground, mildew and deterioration in case of water, and to facilitate fruit picking and other labor operations.
