1. Seed selection

2. Disinfection

Dry heat disinfection. Mostly used for tomatoes, first dry the seeds so that the water content is less than 7%, bake in an oven of 70-73 ℃ for 4 days, take out and accelerate sprouting, which can prevent tomato canker and virus.

Soak the seeds in warm soup. Soak the seeds in 60 ℃ hot water for 10 minutes for 15 minutes, stir while soaking, stop stirring when the water temperature drops to 30 ℃, continue soaking for 3 hours, and take out to dry and germinate, which can reduce the disease in seedling stage.

3. Liquid immersion method. Commonly used formalin 100 times solution, first soak the seeds in clear water for 3-4 hours, then soak in the medicine solution for 20 minutes, take out and rinse with clean water to accelerate germination. Soak the cucumber seeds in water for 2 hours and the medicine solution for 30 minutes. This method can control tomato early blight, eggplant brown stripe, cucumber anthracnose, Fusarium wilt and so on. The seeds can also be soaked with different solutions according to the different diseases to be controlled.

3. Soaking seeds

The seeds must be soaked before budding, but the soaking time should not be too long. According to the experiment, it is suitable to soak the seeds of cucumber for 1-2 hours and pepper, eggplant and tomato for 3-4 hours (including the soaking time during seed disinfection).

4. Sprouting

Control the soaked seeds to remove water, wrap them with well-ventilated gauze, and make sure that the seeds are loose and do not press too tightly. During the budding period, if the seeds are dry, wash them with clean water.

After budding, the seeds sprout and show white, and then they can be sown. If the temperature and humidity are not suitable, the seeds can be sown when the buds grow to 2-3 mm. If the seed has sprouted and can not be sown in time, the seed can be stored in a place of about 5 ℃ Celsius for several days, pay attention to anti-freezing and anti-drying.
