Sweet potato is what we usually call sweet potato, its root hypertrophy, white meat, crispy, juicy, rich in sugar and protein, can be eaten raw, but also cooked. With the development of agricultural science and technology, in recent years, the yield of sweet potato planted in greenhouse has increased year by year. So, what are the potato greenhouse planting techniques? It's important to do this well if you want to be productive!

I. Sowing time

The sowing time of early maturity cultivation of sweet potato in greenhouse is selected from late February to late March, and the average temperature is generally required to reach more than 12℃. Sowing in sunny days requires the selection of excellent varieties suitable for local conditions.

II. Land selection and preparation

Selection of higher terrain, good drainage, loose soil fertile sandy loam cultivation is appropriate. One month before planting, apply enough organic fertilizer, chicken manure 1500~2000kg or rapeseed cake 250~300kg and compound fertilizer 50kg per mu. Tillage twice with rotary tiller or plough, so that the base fertilizer is decomposed quickly, the soil is finely divided and the fertilizer is uniform, and a bamboo shed with a width of 6m is built. After more than 20 days, the ridge was made, that is, the single bamboo shed with 6m width was made into 7 ridges, according to 80cm-ridge, the ridge surface was trapezoidal, the upper width was 40cm and the lower width was 60cm, the ridge width was 20cm, and the groove depth was about 15cm. After the rain or watering, the soil reaches a wet state and then the film is covered to increase the ground temperature.

III. Sowing method

Sowing adopts direct seeding method, sowing 2 rows per ridge, plant spacing 15~16cm, planting 8000~9000 plants per mu. In order to market early can be carried out germination. Soak seeds in warm water for 5~6h, germinate at 25~28℃, rinse with warm water once a day to avoid seed rot, and direct seeding can be carried out when more than 50% of seeds are exposed to white. In order to improve the efficiency of sowing and control the specifications, vegetable farmers generally use a hole-punching device to drill holes for sowing, put a seed bud in each hole, and then cover thin soil.

IV. Seedling management

It is mainly to control the soil humidity in the field, too dry and easy to freeze, too wet and easy to rot. When it is too dry, spray water with a watering can. When it is too wet, open the film at both ends before and after noon, strengthen ventilation and moisture removal, and keep the temperature in the greenhouse at 30~35℃. At the same time, it is necessary to check the seedlings and make up for them to ensure the realization of a complete seedling at one time. When the seedling height is 10cm, lightly apply seedling fertilizer, generally combine with intertillage and weeding at seedling stage, cut small grooves at the edge of sweet potato plants, apply potassium sulfate ternary compound fertilizer 15~20kg per mu, cover soil after application, and combine with soil cultivation to promote early growth of roots. It is not necessary to control pests and diseases because of its strong resistance during the whole growth process of sweet potato.

V. Pruning and pulling vines

When sweet potato begins to pull tendrils, it should stand upright, the height of column is about 1.2m, and the column material is small mangosteen. When the vine grows to 15~20cm, insert a small mangosteen into each plant to form a herringbone frame, and then connect the herringbone frame into a straight line with a small nylon rope to avoid blowing down in the future. At the same time, the vine is artificially rotated to the right around the mangosteen to take up its climbing shelf.

VI. Field management

Before the stand of sweet potato, it should be cultivated and weeded. After the stand, it can be reapplied with root swelling fertilizer in the first ten days of June. Potassium sulfate ternary compound fertilizer 25~30kg per mu can be applied. After rain or irrigation, it should be scattered among sweet potato plants and cultivated once.

During the growth of sweet potato, it is necessary to wipe the axillary buds for 4~5 times, and at the same time, the flower buds must be knocked out, which is conducive to reducing nutrient consumption. When the vine grows to 1.1~1.2m high, the main vine should be topped to control the growth of the aboveground part, so that nutrients can be concentrated to supply the growth of underground roots to achieve early maturity and high yield.

VII. Water and fertilizer management

The watering period of sweet potatoes is similar to that of other ordinary vegetables. Generally, a small amount of water can be poured every three days before emergence to maintain a humidity of 60%. After emergence can be applied with light fertilizer water once, promote growth, after fertilization water once a week until flowering. No watering in flowering period, need to apply compound phosphorus and potassium fertilizer plus trace element fertilizer to assist reproductive growth. During the expansion period, a lot of water is needed to maintain the water content of the roots and transport the nutrients produced by the leaves. It can be watered every 5 days, but in the case of dry soil, it is generally necessary to keep the soil below 2 cm wet. Dry surface, not susceptible to disease. Add compound fertilizer, balance root growth balance.

VIII. Timely harvest

The sweet potato cultivated in greenhouse generally has the purpose of seizing the market. Therefore, it can be harvested 4~5 months after planting, which is earlier than that cultivated in open field and obtains high benefits. According to the market conditions, the harvest is generally carried out when the individual quality of sweet potato reaches 350-400g.

The last small editor reminds everyone that sweet potato likes high temperature, and the temperature required for seed germination is higher than that required for general leguminous crops. Plants need sufficient light for vigorous photosynthesis and accumulation, especially during the formation of fleshy roots. Only sufficient light can produce high yield.
