Cyclamen is a beautiful ornamental potted plant, it likes loose, fertile, well-drained and humus-rich sandy soil; the common colors are red, white and pink.

It is a perennial herb with oblate fleshy bulbs; it can be raised indoors or on an outdoor balcony. The pink cyclamen in my family has been showing a large number of buds since October, blooming at most in January and February and then blooming one after another to around mid-May.

The fruit of cyclamen after flowering (ovary containing seeds) is super cute and chubby, and it can harvest seeds and reproduce a few more seeds when it is ripe and burst.

Cyclamen takes about two and a half months from flower fade to seed maturity. When you see the fruit, it starts to turn yellow and soft, and there are small cracks at the top, it can be harvested. Put the harvested fruit in a cool place to dry for a few days, remove impurities, and then you can put it away and store it.

It doesn't matter to forget to harvest seeds, because if they stay directly in the basin soil, they will find a way to survive and slowly grow into small new seedlings!

Summer is the dormant period of cyclamen, so it is a good time to change pots, replant and sow seeds until the next round of growing season around September, when pots can be moved to shady places to reduce water supply.
