The Southern City Research and Development Council promotes intelligent agriculture through the Smart Urban and Rural Life Application Subsidy Program of the Industrial Bureau of the Ministry of Economic Affairs, and cooperates with Jingwei Aerospace Technology to use drones to spray crops and identify diseases, effectively reducing agricultural disasters.

The Tainan Research and Development Assessment Committee and the Smart Development Center, through the resources of the Smart Urban and Rural Life Application Subsidy Program of the Industrial Bureau of the Ministry of Economic Affairs, combined with local operators to fully promote smart agriculture, cooperated with Jingwei Aerospace Science and Technology Company on "AI Agricultural Light Technology-Mobile Cloud Service Platform-Accurate Analysis of Agricultural Conditions, Disaster Survey and Disease Data", collected 10 crops and disease images such as rice, corn and tomatoes through photos for AI identification, and assisted farmers in building safer protective nets. Effectively reduce agricultural disasters and add another sharp tool to the development of intelligent agriculture.

With the aging population, the trend of fewer children and the shortage of agricultural manpower, it has brought great challenges to agricultural development. Through the cross-domain integration of innovative technology and traditional agriculture, the traditional farming pattern has gradually changed. The municipal government continues to work with the central government and the industry to introduce new scientific and technological elements, and use industrial creativity and energy to solve the problems of local agricultural development, bringing new value to industrial upgrading for scientific and technological agriculture.

Luo Zhengfang, chairman of Jingwei Hangtai, said that the APP developed in combination with the mobile cloud platform can instantly return and distinguish the current situation information of farmland, establish a popularized operation mode for crop disease investigation, provide farmers with planting reference and deal with emergency, and achieve twice the result with half the effort. In recent years, in addition to assisting farmers in Houbi, Xinying and other places to use drones to spray rice and corn and other grain crops, we have also actively carried out research and development on fruit crops, carefully designed flight conditions in coordination with fruit tree cultivation patterns, achieved the maximum effect of pest control, and provided new options for agricultural operation and management.

Dai Weijun, chairman of the research and examination committee, pointed out that the application of intelligent science and technology in agriculture in Nanshi City is becoming wider and wider. The municipal government has jointly upgraded and developed AI to automatically identify disease types and provide farmers with prevention and control suggestions in 110 years after cooperating with Jingwei Aerospace in the pilot project of unmanned aerial vehicle agricultural spraying application in 107 years, thus creating a new model of safety and efficiency for agricultural development.

Dai Weijun stressed that the municipal government also continued to cooperate with the industry to develop the life application of smart science and technology. In the 110-year subsidy plan for smart urban and rural life application handled by the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Nanshi proposed that all six cases were passed, and the approved number of subsidies was the largest in all counties and cities, including advanced bus driving assistance, English smart city co-creation platform, digital intelligent aquaculture industry ecosystem construction, AI precision health co-illumination and dengue fever prevention.
