More than 70 civil organizations in China have launched a referendum to protect the 7600-year-old algae reef. As of yesterday (February 24), a total of 123,700 signatures have been received, which is still a long way from the safety threshold. Students from 30 universities across the country have joined the series. This week, they set up stalls on various campuses to sprint for the algae reef referendum. Academic teachers are also doing their part. They stand up and appeal to the whole people to sign together!
