On the 19th, Taipei Mayor Ke Wenzhe attended the launching ceremony of the marked submersible shield machine in the CQ850 section of the Taipei MRT Wanda Line, and at the same time started the first submersible shield machine to be launched for the station. Mayor Ke Wenzhe said that it is a great honor to come to the launching ceremony of the submersible shield machine at Yonghe Yonghe small Station on the MRT Wanda Line in the first week of the Spring Festival. I would also like to thank my colleagues at the MRT Bureau for their efforts to build a rapid transit system in the entire capital life circle over the past 30 years.

Mayor Ke Wenzhe explained that Yongping National small Station is the largest station on the entire MRT Wanda line, and you can feel the vastness and grandeur of the station on the spot. This building with nine stories underground, there will be six lighting and ventilation shafts after completion, which will bring sunlight and air from above, which is a very difficult project. Mayor Ke Wenzhe added that at present, the progress of the construction of the entire MRT Wanda Line has reached about 50%; the second phase of the MRT Wanda Line will also continue to be contracted this year, and upon completion, it will connect the Tamsui Lutheran Line and the Songshan Xindian Line at the Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall Station, becoming a gathering point of Line 3. Mayor Ke Wenzhe stressed that the MRT Wanda Line will connect Wanhua, Zhonghe, Tucheng, and forest areas, and will be connected to the Taoyuan MRT Brown Line, which is a very important transportation line.

With regard to the transportation of the capital's life circle, Mayor Ke Wenzhe said that this life circle is not only for Taipei citizens, about 58% of the 1280 yuan regular ticket users are Xinbei citizens, and it is also expected that the first phase of the Wanda Line will be completed in 2025. The most important thing this year is to start construction of the northern and southern ring sections of the ring line, while the East Ring Line will negotiate with the Ministry of Communications to catch up as soon as possible. In conclusion, Mayor Ke Wen-Tseh stressed that the completion of the Ring Line and the Wanda Line in the next 15 years is the most important task for the entire Taipei MRT company, and thanks again to the MRT colleagues.
