Miaoli shallow Mountain Optoelectronics triggered Shihu conservation and environmental disputes. The optoelectronics industry was blocked by the application case and went directly to the Miaoli county government county magistrate's office today (31). It was questioned that it was a closed-door meeting "Qiao" development. Conservation groups held a press conference in front of the Miao County government in the cold wind today, angrily denouncing "collusion between government and business" and "players and referees," and pointed out that the Miao County government set up a "three-stage review" system in October this year and invited relevant experts to examine and check the ecologically sensitive locations. it is a move ahead of the whole country, calling on the county government not to abandon its martial arts.

According to the "meeting notice" issued by the Solar Photovoltaic system Business Association, the reason listed for the meeting is to discuss "the feeder case has been obtained or reexamined before July 31." Taiwan's Shihu Conservation Association pointed out that the optoelectronics industry intends to try as usual. In order to skip the newly established three-stage examination, if the current 225 applications pass, hundreds of hectares of hillside farmland will be destroyed, not only Shihu. What's more, it is a catastrophe for the ecological environment in shallow mountains.

The Miaoli county government said after the meeting that photovoltaic operators only came to visit rather than hold meetings, and that the three-stage review would continue and would not be abolished.
