The 2020 Xinshe Huahai and Taichung International Flower and blanket Festival will be staged from November 14 to December 6. The 10th anniversary of this year's Taichung International Flower and blanket Festival will use flowers to create a large maze with the theme of "Alice's Flower Border Adventure." let people immerse themselves in it and wander through Alice's Wonderland. Linghu Rongda, deputy mayor of Taichung, said that the Flower and blanket Festival covers an area of 1.8ha and is made of 10 flower species and nearly 250000 plants. Welcome to the New Society to explore the fantastic flower border.

Taichung City held a press conference of the 2020 Taichung International Carpet Festival in the municipal building of Taiwan Avenue on the 9th. This year, the Xinshe Huahai and Taichung International Carpet Festival marked their 15th and 10th anniversaries respectively. The brightest thing is the courage of the 10-meter-high main carpet ─ at the Flower and Carpet Festival, recreating the classic scene of Alice bravely confronting the Queen of Hearts and surrounded by playing card soldiers. The Cheshire cat in the fairy tale, the rabbit in a hurry with a pocket watch, the crazy hatter and other characters will also appear in the exhibition area.

Vice Mayor Linghu Rongda pointed out that the flower blanket festival will last for 23 days over four weekends, and it is estimated that 2 million people will visit all over Taiwan. The city government also plans to connect Fengyuan Line and Taiyuan Line, and open four free feeder routes such as Dongshi Line and Hanamichi Sakuragi Line during the holidays. It is suggested that people can take the Taiwan Railway to Fengyuan Station to transfer, or park their vehicles in parking lots such as Taiyuan, Dakeng Jingbuku, Zhongxingling, etc. Then transfer to the surrounding free shuttle bus to the exhibition area.

Taichung City Tourism Bureau reminds the public that to cooperate with epidemic prevention, they should wear a mask and take their body temperature all the way into the flower carpet festival exhibition area. If they have symptoms of fever or do not wear a mask, they will politely refuse to enter.
