Compound fertilizer can be used to raise orchids. There are many kinds of compound fertilizers. Taking compound fertilizers with nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium contents of 17% respectively as an example, they can generally be used before orchids bloom in spring and before budding in autumn. A shallow ditch is dug at the root of 5-8 cm, sprinkled with about 20 fertilizers, and then covered with soil and watered.
