How to raise white orchids in spring
1. Increase light
Spring it will gradually resume growth, late spring is already its growth peak, although it is not resistant to strong light, but appropriate light is conducive to its metabolism. Therefore, at this time, at least ensure that the daily light is not less than four hours, the morning and afternoon sunlight is not strong, you can directly illuminate, and you need to block the strong light at noon.
2. Change the basin
After the temperature rises in spring, it should be replaced. The old basin is not enough for it to grow. Changing the basin when it grows will help it adapt to the new environment. When changing pots, gently grasp the base of it with your hand, then turn it upside down, gently tap the pot body with a wooden stick, and after leaving the pot, clean up the soil at the roots, trim off the rotten and dried branches on the roots, and then replant them into new pots.
III. Watering
After waking up from the dormancy period, slowly increase the amount of watering. At first, you can irrigate once a week. When the temperature rises sharply in late spring, you should irrigate once every two days. When irrigating, you should avoid big water. Big water will lead to ponding in the basin soil, which will soak its roots. After the temperature exceeds 20 degrees, water the branches and leaves to prevent them from drying up.
IV. Fertilization
The nutrients in the soil alone cannot meet the needs of its growth period, so fertilizer is needed. When changing pots, you need to mix base fertilizer in the soil. After it adapts to the new pot soil, you need to apply fertilizer once. The fertilizer effect does not need to be too strong. It is best to use mild natural fertilizer. In spring, you do not need to use fertilizer for leaves.
