For those who grow flowers at home, there will always be times when they are not at home, so the flowers will not be watered, which is a problem. For how to make flowers in the short-term no one at home will not lack of water, in this case, you might as well try the following three methods.

Drip irrigation method

In fact, the drip irrigation method is just like our drip, which needs an eyedropper device to drip water into the base of the plant stem, so that the water droplets continue to infiltrate and spread into the soil and are absorbed by the roots. The speed of dripping can be adjusted according to the type and size of flowers. This method is simple and effective, but you need an eyedropper.

Capillary method

In fact, the use of wick or cloth, one end on the basin soil, the other end in a container full of water, the water level in the container needs to be higher than the basin soil position. In this way, through the role of plant capillaries, water can be continuously supplied to the basin soil.

Plastic bag method

First of all, you need to water the plant thoroughly, prepare 3 or 4 thin sticks higher than the plant height, and then cover the whole plant with a plastic bag and tie it to the basin. The thin stick is to prevent the plastic bag from coming into contact with the leaves. With the plastic bag covering, the water vapor can be preserved inside, and the water droplets will form on the plastic bag, and the water droplets can be dripped back into the basin soil, which can keep moist for almost two to three weeks.

If you are not away from home for a long time, you can cover the plants loosely with plastic bags for about 10 days, and the flowerpots covered with plastic bags can be avoided in places with direct sunlight.
