The Yingshi tribe, a traditional bamboo house built by natural construction methods, heard loud songs from its people, accompanied by the crisp rhythm of a smoke-curling fire and wooden drums. The young people first greeted the tourists coming from afar with a happy song of "Rimuy Sola Rimuy Yo", and then introduced each person's ethnic name in order with the interlaced "Ima lalu su" (what's your name) in chorus and solo.

Wooden drums, Atayal clothes, the aroma of roasting fire, and the soft and poetic mother tongue songs are stacked with the original flavor of the traditional tribe. At present, the eco-tourism of the Yingshi tribe is organized by a group of local youths. A hundred years ago, their ancestors parted ways in Siyuan Yukou. One went to Peach Bamboo Miao to become a marmoset group, one to South Australia Hualien to form the South Australia Group, and one along the Lanyang River to become the Xitou Group of Ilan. A hundred years later, the Atayal who loved to move around met again in the Yingshi tribe, and the one who was responsible for beating the wooden drum gave Hong. Gumai said with a smile: "this is the United Nations, and in the early years the people would be at odds with each other over hunting grounds!"

The troubles of the past for survival have faded, and now this group of young people work together to contribute their expertise and work together to promote tribal travel. Although the hot spring near the settlement has become quite famous, through the leadership of the local youth, the story of this wild stream, which will change the route of the hot spring with time, is told, such as the old people of the tribe used to scrape their skin with pebbles in the brook bed before going into the water. in addition to being used as a horny massage before taking a bath, the purification ceremony also implies respect for nature. Or in front of this hot spring sandwiched between two mountains, the ridge line in the distance is exactly the same as the photos recorded when the Japanese came here in 1989, and the hot spring, which is often mispronounced as "Vatican", should actually be called "Fengyi". Its pronunciation bong bong refers to the sound of stones rolling on the brook bed.

After visiting Yexi Hot Springs and getting to know the local literature and history, the Yingshi tribe also planned a "meditation tea banquet," using spring onions planted and dried by tribal elders to make fresh-scented snow cakes, paired with flowers and plants collected in advance. Let visitors calm down to configure the tea banquet, while closing their eyes to listen to the ancient melodies of the harmonica.

Since last year, the Yingshi tribe has begun to integrate tribal tourism resources through guidance from the Aboriginal firm in Ilan County, and with the efforts of Zhong Zhengzhi, director of the Yingshi Tribal Community Development Association, it has won the injection of resources from various projects. to show a new tribal style and the mode of operation of eco-tourism. This group of young people who have returned home from other places have returned to the land where they grew up to take root in life, write plans, lead groups, practice singing, and assist the elderly in their common eating affairs. On the one hand, they cultivate the culture, and on the other hand, they take care of and accompany the elderly. With full enthusiasm, they invited everyone to soak in hot springs, enjoy tea, and listen to the wonderful stories of the Yingshi tribe, and the tribe youth also planned an exploration tour of "Hengqi Yanggu Road". Friends who are interested in eco-tourism may wish to inquire!

The fire house of the ↑ Yingshi tribe combines the construction methods of the three ethnic groups of Atayal: the Yingshi group is good at making roofs of male and female bamboo with overlapping yin and yang; the Nanao group knocks and flattens the bamboo tubes to form an integrated window; and the Xitou group uses complete bamboo tubes as benches to demonstrate the traditional wisdom of the people in using the natural resources of the mountains.
