Prepare the container

Before hydroponic cultivation of mung beans, it is necessary to choose a hydroponic container of the right size, preferably not too deep and not too large. In order to see the rooting of water culture, it is best to choose a transparent glass container. Clean the glass container and disinfect it.

2. Pruning branches

Cut a 5-10 cm long mung bean branch from the mother plant, which is free from diseases and insect pests, and pay attention to the fact that there must be a little leaf bud on the branch, which can accelerate the growth of roots. After cutting, the wound was disinfected with potassium permanganate solution and placed in a cool environment.

Third, hydroponic rooting

Cut mung bean branches into a hydroponic container with a depth of 1/3 or two-thirds. Keep the room temperature at 25 degrees, change the water every 2-3 days, and add a few drops of growth liquid to each change of water, so that roots will grow after about half a month. After rooting and growing leaves, it can be transplanted into the pot to ensure a higher survival rate.
