First, the head can be beheaded

It is not recommended to behead a well-growing magnolia plant. Because it can grow normally, beheading does great harm to it. But if it is a plant that has already had a rotten heart, then it should be beheaded. Because this can directly remove the poor growth parts of the plant, when it sprouts again, it will be able to grow into a better ornamental new plant.

Second, beheading time

The best time to behead it is in the spring of every year, that is, from March to May. Because this period of time makes it grow the fastest, after beheading, it can quickly produce small buds, and then continue to grow. Of course, if the degree of heartbreak of the plant is very serious, it is recommended to cut off the head immediately and not put it off until spring.

Third, beheading and maintenance methods

Cut off all the rotten leaves and stems from the plant. It can be re-cut, or even all its leaves can be cut off, but the root system must be kept intact. After cutting, apply a layer of sterilization to the wound, and then put it in the shade so as not to let it shine in the sun. Soon, the wound will dry up, and at this point, normal care can be restored. In a few weeks, it will be able to sprout and gradually grow into leaves.
