Aphids

The adults and larvae of aphids mainly cause harm by clustering on tender shoots and leaves, affecting plant growth and seriously affecting the germination of new buds and leaves.

Control method: it can be sprayed with 2000 times of aldicarb wettable powder or 1500 times of dimethoate EC. Pay attention to stop the drug about 15 days before harvest to avoid toxin residue.

Red spider

The peak of damage is during the high temperature period from June to August, when red spiders suck sap on the back of the leaves and take nutrition from the plants. the specific symptoms are that the damaged parts initially appear small yellow-white spots, then gradually expand into yellow-brown focal spots, and finally the whole leaves will turn yellow and fall off.

Prevention and control methods: you can spray 1500 times solution of insect mites, or you can choose 1.8% avermectin 3000 times solution for prevention and control.

Silver leaf moth

The larvae of the leaf moth do harm by biting the leaves, and holes or scratches appear on the leaves. The larvae usually lurk on the back of the leaves during the day and feed on the leaves at night or on cloudy days.

Control method: you can spray 25% insecticidal amidine solution 300,350 times or 1000 times with 90% crystal trichlorfon.

Leaf roll borer

Leaf roller larvae will spin and roll leaves on young buds and young leaves, and eating leaves is harmful.

Control method: 300-400 times liquid of trichlorfon can be sprayed on the leaf surface to control it, and good results can be achieved.

Ground tiger, mole cricket

Ground tiger, mole cricket will bite off the rhizome of patchouli seedlings, resulting in lack of seedlings, affecting the yield.

Control method: 90% crystal trichlorfon can be used as poison bait, or 50% phoxim 1000 times solution mixed with poisonous soil strips.
