Pig disease has always been a headache for pig farmers, which not only increases the cost of raising, but also greatly reduces the profit margin. According to statistics, there are three common factors of poisoning in pig farms: mycotoxins, blood endotoxins and antibiotic residues, which are collectively referred to as three toxins in pig farms.

Mycotoxins usually exist in the feed of corn and wheat bran, which are the main sources of energy. Mycotoxins can increase the metabolic burden of organs and cause damage to the immune system through a series of actions in the pig machine. the intuitive manifestation is that there are scabs, plaques, eye feces and tear spots on the body surface, and some will have ulcers and so on.

This will affect immunosuppression, pig susceptibility, antibody titer reduction and so on. Once the immune system of pigs is reduced, external viruses and bacteria will enter, and pig diseases will inevitably occur frequently.

There are two ways for pig farmers to deal with the disease:

1. Frequent vaccination of various vaccines

2. Heavy use of antibiotics

When infected with a large number of harmful bacteria, although antibiotics can kill most bacteria, they can not prevent the damage of a large number of toxins released after bacterial death. at the same time, the accumulation of toxins in the blood will further damage the immune system. Pigs will only have fever, bleeding tendency, changes in white blood cell count, heart failure, liver damage, renal failure, nervous system symptoms and so on. Frequent vaccination not only makes it difficult to awaken the immune system, but also aggravates the damage to the immune system, not to mention that the vaccine itself is a toxin.

Therefore, after such repetition, the immune system of pigs is sometimes forcibly activated, sometimes oversuppressed, and is on the verge of collapse all the time, which is why there were widespread high fever in 2006, a full outbreak of epidemic diarrhea in 2011, and the practice of dead pigs in the Huangpu River.

Strictly control the "three passes"

In fact, the internal relationship of the "three poisons" is not difficult to find, when the "three poisons" can "help each other", it is the time that brings the greatest threat to the pigs. Therefore, to grasp the link problems and break them one by one is the most effective way to get rid of the threat of "three poisons."

To deal with mycotoxins, the "three passes" should be strictly controlled.

1. Raw material clearance

Control the quality of raw materials, not inferior.

2. Storage clearance

Feed pay attention to moistureproof, sun exposure, do not use expired feed, clean the feed mixer regularly.

3. Feeding pass

Regular inspection of feed delivery, clear sow trough, detailed management, plus effective mildew removal plan to prevent the threat of mycotoxin.

Recommendations:

Pig farms do health care, try not to use broad-spectrum antibiotics, but use more targeted, more non-resistant immune enhancers and regulate intestinal traditional Chinese medicine products, good immune system and healthy intestinal tract can ensure a healthy and less toxic internal environment.

Gradually put an end to the habit of frequent use of antibiotics, whether from the perspective of food safety, or from the point of view of protecting pigs from antibiotic residues, the advantages outweigh the disadvantages.
