The difference between Thousand bergamot and Tree Ice

The main difference between tree ice and thousand bergamot lies in the size of plant type, the color of leaves, the demand of water and fertilizer, the demand of light and so on. The tree ice plant type is petite, the leaves are thick and easy to turn red, like the humid environment, the thousand bergamot plant type is larger, the leaves are evergreen, it is difficult to bask in the red, and the requirements for water and fertilizer are not strict, like light.

The difference between tree ice and thousand bergamot

1. Plant type

Tree ice and thousand bergamot belong to the hybrid species of sedum and stone lotus in the crassulaceae, so their appearance is very similar, but it is not very difficult to distinguish between the two plants. The simplest thing is that from the size of the plant type, the tree ice is very small, often less than half the size of the thousand bergamot, appears to be particularly delicate.

2. Color

Another difference between tree ice and Thousand bergamot is the difference in color. While Thousand bergamot is relatively large, the leaves are also particularly wide and thick, larger and greener than those of tree ice. The leaves of tree ice are easy to turn reddish in the sun, while the leaves of Thousand bergamot are more difficult to turn red.

3. Water and fertilizer

Although tree ice and thousand bergamot belong to succulent plants of the same species, so they both have a greater demand for water, but tree ice is not resistant to excessive moisture and waterlogging, while thousand bergamot is more tolerant and can accept a drier environment for a period of time. And tree ice needs less than half as much fertilizer as thousand bergamot.

4. Lighting

Tree ice turns red easily in light and is very sensitive to the stimulation of light, so when the light intensity is slightly stronger, it is necessary to move to a semi-shaded place to receive scattered light, otherwise it is prone to sunburn. Thousand bergamot can tolerate stronger light and only needs to avoid light a little at noon in summer.
