Before transplanting gardenia, it is necessary to prepare a slightly acidic soil with loose, fertile and good drainage. After the gardenia is taken out of the water, the roots need to be properly trimmed, then disinfected and dried in a ventilated environment for a few days before planting. After gardenia transplantation, the soil should be kept moist and carefully preserved.

How to transplant hydroponic Gardenia jasminoides after rooting

1. Prepare the soil

After hydroponic culture, the roots of Gardenia jasminoides need to be transplanted to the soil for breeding, so suitable soil needs to be prepared before transplanting. Gardenia is suitable for growing in loose, fertile and slightly acidic soil with good drainage. Rotten leaf soil, river sandy soil and garden soil can be used in preparation. The soil needs to be disinfected before planting.

2. Plant treatment.

After the rooted gardenia is taken out of the water, it cannot be transplanted immediately. At this time, its roots should be treated, trimmed properly, then disinfected with carbendazim, and finally dried in a ventilated environment for a few days. Rooting powder can also be applied before planting, so that it can be planted in the soil.

3. Transplant maintenance

When transplanting, dig a hole in the soil, then put the plant into the pit, and then add some soil to fix the roots. If the soil is dry, it needs to be watered immediately to keep the soil slightly moist. Put the plant in a bright and ventilated environment to adapt to the new environment and restore growth.
