Yushu is deeply loved by potted friends because of its high ornamental value and practical value, and many people like to plant it as a potted plant in the family environment. However, in the process of conservation and management, some potted friends found that the leaves of their potted Yushu were easy to fall off, and sometimes even fell off as soon as they touched them. For indoor foliage potted plants, it is very difficult for people to accept the phenomenon of losing leaves.

Yushu likes the characteristics of warmth and dryness, so it should be provided with sufficient light and reasonable watering as far as possible in the process of maintenance and management, while ensuring smooth ventilation. If the conservation environment is too shady, and the basin soil is often too wet, coupled with poor ventilation, the plant is easy to lose its leaves at a touch, even without touching it.

Of course, if there is no watering for a long time, resulting in the basin soil is too dry, and the plant does not replenish water in time and consume the water stored in its leaves, it is also easy to cause leaf loss. And if the summer high temperature and scorching sun environment, because the leaf water loss is serious, will also lose the leaf. Of course, there is also a situation in which plants are infected with diseases, especially black rot, which can also cause loss of leaves.

From the analysis of the above aspects, we can draw a conclusion that the main reasons for the loss of leaves in Yushu are as follows:

1. Lack of light

When the lack of light causes potted jade trees to lose their leaves, we only need to provide light for them. However, all-day sunshine should not be provided directly, because the plant has been in a shady state for a long time and needs to provide light gradually, after all, the plant also has a process of adaptation, otherwise it may aggravate the phenomenon of falling leaves.

2. Excessive illumination

The excessive light is mainly due to the dehydration of a large number of leaves and shallow roots caused by the hot sun in summer, which is unable to absorb and transport a large amount of water in time. Therefore, under the high temperature environment in summer, shading measures must be provided for potted Yushu, and it is suggested that it be moved to a bright place indoors.

3. The basin soil is too wet.

The wet soil in the basin may be mainly due to the poor permeability in the basin, and when watering too much, it is easy to cause excessive moisture in the basin and cause leaf loss. For this kind of situation, we should improve the ventilation condition and strengthen the drainage in time; if the root rot is serious, we may need to change the basin and soil.

4. The basin soil is too dry

If the pot soil is too dry because it is not watered for a long time, the plant will lose its leaves in the case of dehydration. Therefore, we should water it in time. But watering at this time is not suitable for flooding, after all, after a long drought, watering the plant, the absorption is not good, the symptoms are also difficult to improve, but should gradually replenish water.

5. Infected with black rot

If the root of Yushu is infected with black rot, it will inevitably cause a large number of root rot, which can not absorb and transport water normally, then the plant will inevitably lose leaves. And black rot is a relatively difficult to cure disease, destructive is also very strong, generally need to change the basin in time to change soil, at the same time to trim the root antivirus treatment, and then re-pot planting.
