I. planting methods

1. Prepare seeds: prepare orchid fruits that are ripe but not cracked, wipe the surface with disinfectant and remove the seeds. Then put them in 10%NaClO solution and soak for 5-10 minutes. After that, take them out and wash the NaClO off the surface of the seeds with water.

2. Prepare flower soil: because its seed germination rate is relatively low, it is necessary to prepare high quality flower soil to plant it, so it is easier to let it sprout. Specifically, soft flower soil with weak acidity, high humus content and orchid should be used. If there is no orchid, you can also use the flower soil that has previously raised orchids instead.

3. Planting and culture: sow the seed into the flower soil, then put it in a 25 ℃ constant temperature dark room and cultivate it slowly.

4. Germinate and transplant: after a period of time, their seeds begin to germinate, and at this time, they can be moved to a sunny position to help them grow into protocorms. Then transplant and cultivate.

II. Maintenance methods of orchid seedlings

1, keep moist: it likes a slightly wet growth environment, maintenance should be timely water supply, so that its plant materials can always keep a small amount of water. If the weather is dry, you can spray water for it.

2, appropriate fertilization: according to the fertility of the plant, to fertilize it. Because the orchid seedling is very sensitive to flower fertilizer, more fertilizer and less fertilizer can not grow well. Generally speaking, after it grows leaf buds, it can be applied with a thin fertilizer. In summer, the amount of fertilizer should be reduced. In autumn, you can apply a little more.
