In order to reduce air pollution emissions from industrial boilers, Yunlin County has actively sought subsidies from the Ministry of Economic Affairs since 107, hoping to replace boiler equipment by subsidizing factories in Yunlin County to use low pollution fuels (natural gas, liquefied petroleum gas or diesel) instead of traditional fuel oil or coal, so as to reduce boiler air pollutant emissions and help the industry comply with environmental laws and regulations. Li Junxing, director of the Department of Construction, said that in February 109, the Ministry of Economic Affairs revised the "subsidy to counties and cities directly under the Central Government-key points for the improvement of industrial boilers" to extend the subsidy period to this year. Yunlin County-continuously strives to be approved by the Ministry of Economic Affairs for the improvement of 30 industrial boilers with a subsidy amount of 21 million yuan.
The application period for industrial boiler improvement subsidy is up to September 30, 109, and the factory shall complete the boiler improvement before October 15, 109 and report it to Yunlin County for acceptance check.
