Taitung Zhiben Wetland, which is recognized as an A1-grade "important wild bird habitat" by Birdlife International, is the largest grassy wetland on the east coast, and the traditional area of the Peinan "Katratripulr" tribe. Lu Hongwen, an opposition spokesman representing the traditional tribal organization, said that on July 16 this year, the tribe held a tribal meeting in accordance with the "standard meeting procedure" required by the original people's Association and the Taitung county government. by an overwhelming vote, the "photoelectric board will forever withdraw from the Zhiben wetland," while the Wilderness Conservation Association launched a joint signature, calling on the public to be concerned about the future of the Zhiben wetland.
