Taiwan seeds will be launched into space for the first time this October! The National Space Center (NSPO) participates in the science program of the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA). At the end of July, four seeds were sent to Japan. The four seeds are Phalaenopsis, Chenopodium formosanum, Pepper and Sunflower. They are expected to arrive in the United States in September this year. In October this year, they will take a spacecraft to the International Space Station (ISS).

Domestic participants in the project and seed selection include the Agricultural Experimental Institute of the Council of Agriculture and the Agricultural Science Department of Chung Hsing University
