Yingshanhong, also known as rhododendron, is a kind of evergreen shrub, which is welcomed by many potted enthusiasts because of its brilliant flowering and high ornamental value. Yingshanhong can not only be used as a potted plant, but also can be enjoyed by its old pile to create a bonsai. But if the pot is raised, it is often inseparable from turning the basin. On the other hand, the turning of the basin is divided into two situations: one is that the newly purchased or newly excavated plants need to be pots, and the other is that the pots need to be turned regularly after 2-3 years of maintenance.

However, no matter under any circumstances, we have to choose a more appropriate time to do so. If the time is not chosen properly, it may have a certain impact on the survival of the plant, and may even lead to failure in turning the pot. in serious cases, it may cause the plant to die, thus wasting our precious resources, especially the turning of the old pile.

The turning basin of Yingshan red old pile can be divided into raw pile and mature pile. Raw pile refers to the downhill pile dug back from mining, which needs to be re-cut before going on the basin, including root trimming, and then bare root on the basin; mature pile refers to Yingshanhong, which has usually grown in the basin, generally does not need to be re-cut, more appropriate root trimming and then bringing soil to turn the basin. However, whether it is raw pile or mature pile, turning the basin should be carried out at an appropriate time, which is more conducive to the survival of the basin.

Generally speaking, the turning of Yingshanhong can be carried out not only in spring but also in autumn. Spring is generally the most suitable for February-March, autumn is generally carried out after September, and the southern region can even be carried out at the end of autumn and the beginning of winter. As long as we can make good use of these time nodes, combined with the local climate and environment, and take scientific methods and standardized processes to turn the basin, the general plant can survive more smoothly.

However, it is suggested that Yingshanhong should be turned over in the spring and autumn, which does not mean that it will not survive after turning the pot in other seasons. For those who are experienced in planting, they can even turn the pot for them all the year round and keep them alive. The key is whether we can provide it with a suitable condition for turning the basin, and whether we can take the necessary measures to keep it alive. For beginners, compared with other seasons, the turning of Yingshanhong is often more suitable for spring and autumn.
