Cherry blossoms are suitable for planting, rarely potted, but cherry blossoms can be potted. Suitable potted cherry varieties are rising sun, bean cherry (Fuji cherry), turmeric, royal clothing yellow and so on. Here we collected some potted cherry pictures for friends to enjoy, we also summarized the potted cherry using the following cultivation methods to make potted flowers flourish.

1. Soil:

Potted cherry first to prepare the soil, generally can use self-made rotten leaf soil, the specific practice is to collect leaves and acidic soil, chicken manure, charcoal powder and microbial retting system. Self-made moldy leaf soil drainage and aeration better, suitable for potted cherry growth.

2. Watering:

Cherry bogey ponding, according to different seasons and cherry seedling size reasonable watering, see dry see wet principle prevail, soil can not be too wet or ponding, otherwise it will cause rotten roots, light leaves fall off, affect flowering, heavy whole plant death.

3. Fertilization:

Cherry pot fertilization should be sufficient to ensure the nutrients needed for its growth and development, so that the plants are luxuriant and colorful. Generally, the decomposed liquid fertilizer once a week is mainly nitrogen fertilizer in the early stage to promote nutritional growth. In the later stage, phosphorus fertilizer should be applied to prevent excessive nutritional growth and affect flower bud differentiation. From May to June, 0.1%-0.2% potassium dihydrogen phosphate should be sprayed on the leaves, and base fertilizer should be applied once before and after flowering to lay the foundation for flowering in the second year.

4. Trimming:

Special attention should be paid to pruning potted cherry blossoms. Before and after flowering, the branches that grow too densely should be properly thinned, and the inner branches, dead branches, thin branches and diseased branches should be cut off. During the whole growth period, the sprouts and long branches should be cut off at any time to avoid consuming nutrients. Preservatives must be applied after pruning to avoid wound decay, because cherry wounds heal slowly. The cherry branches in the new pot should be truncated to promote more new branches and more flower buds.

5, insect control:

Cherry blossoms have gum flow and root rot. These two diseases should be treated in time to improve soil, strengthen water and fertilizer management and prune reasonably. Cherry blossoms will be damaged by aphids, red spiders and scale insects during their growth in one year. Generally, they are sprayed 3 - 4 times, the first time in the early stage of flowering, the second time in the late stage of flowering, and the third time in July and August. Careful observation and timely prevention are necessary to achieve better results.

Cherry bonsai and plum bonsai maintenance, management methods are similar, we will cherry bonsai and plum bonsai together for cultivation, without special care, can bloom normally every year for viewing. At present, cherry bonsai has yet to be popularized, and this work still needs us and our peers to continue to explore and develop.
