The common propagation methods of bamboo crabapple are sowing and cutting. Cutting propagation is divided into stem cutting, leaf cutting, root cutting and other operation methods. It sprouted at 7-30 days after sowing and survived after cutting for 15-40 days. After survival and growth, it is necessary to stabilize the suitable temperature between 19 and 24 ℃, be nourished by bright and warm scattered light and keep ventilated.

How to cultivate and manage Bamboo Begonia

1. Sowing and reproduction

Bamboo crabapple can be cultivated and propagated by sowing. The healthy seeds with full grains were selected before sowing, washed and germinated, and then sowed into the nutritious soil made of rotten leaf soil, culture soil, fine sand and other materials. Keep the growth temperature between 18-22 ℃, water and moisturize, and germinate in about 7-30 days.

2. Cuttage propagation

Cutting propagation can be done by stem cutting, leaf cutting, root cutting and so on. No matter which kind of cutting technique, we should choose the substrate with strong growth, no damage and no wilting. The length of the branches is controlled at 10-15 cm, and the leaves need to be cleaned before being inserted into the soil. The growth temperature was maintained between 20-22 ℃ and survived within 15-40 days.

3. Management methods

For the bamboo crabapple after normal growth and survival, the suitable temperature should be between 19 and 24 ℃, and not less than 10 ℃ in winter, otherwise the plant would be frozen. Plants are sensitive to light, so they can only accept morning light or scattered light, and refuse to be exposed to strong light. The basin soil should be changed after 1 year and 2 years of culture to ensure that the soil is clean and nutritious.
