The dwarfing method of banana in pot can be used to cut off the stem, pick the core and bury the paclobutrazol mud ball. Cut the rhizome of the plant into small pieces, each with two or three buds. After planting, when the height of the stems and leaves reaches 30 cm to 40 cm, cut off all the stems. Rarefied liquid fertilizer is applied every other week after pruning.

I. Stem cutting method

Banana pot dwarfing can be used to cut the stem, take off the plant and tidy up the roots, and cut the rhizome into small pieces with two or three buds on each piece. Prepare a large flowerpot, plant the cut small rhizome inside, and plant two small pieces in each flowerpot.

2. Pruning method

When the height of stems and leaves after planting reaches 30 cm to 40 cm but has not yet flowered, all the stems can be cut off with sterilized scissors, leaving no branches and leaves. After pruning, thin liquid fertilizer can be applied every other week to promote germination. After being equal in length and height, it can be trimmed again to achieve the purpose of dwarfing.

III. Buried paclobutrazol mud pill method

Banana pot dwarfing can be used to bury paclobutrazol mud ball method, when the stem and leaf height reaches 20 cm to 30 cm, five paclobutrazol mud pills can be buried on the edge of the flowerpot. Then appropriate amount of water will be watered to slowly dissolve the drug ingredients in the mud balls and infiltrate into the roots to promote it to dwarf.
