To raise a gentleman's orchid, it is necessary to match the soil.
Many flower friends have a pot of gentleman orchids in their homes, but they have not changed much after many years, and the leaves are often yellowed and there are some spots on the leaves. That's all. The point is that after raising it for so long, I've never seen a gentleman orchid blossom, and I don't know where the problem is. Huahua listened to an old woman say that her family-like gentleman orchid looked very good, so she went to inquire about it, and the original trick was to match the soil.
Huahua has sorted out some tips on how to allocate soil to Magnolia, which I will share with you.
Permeable and breathable river sand
The gentleman orchid likes the soil with good air permeability and water permeability, so the basin soil is not easy to harden. River sand is also rich in iron, magnesium, calcium and other elements, which are indispensable trace elements for the growth of Cymbidium. With them, the magnolia can grow better.
Slag ash
The air permeability and water permeability of slag ash are also very good, and it has a good ability to store water. Slag ash can also keep the roots of Cymbidium warm, so as to promote the development of plant roots.
Horse dung soil and rotten leaf soil
Horse dung soil and rotten leaf soil contain a large number of trace elements such as nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium, which are of great benefit to the growth of Magnolia.
How to mix soil
Generally speaking, the cultivation of Magnolia can be configured with rotten leaf soil, pine needle and river sandy soil, with a ratio of 7:1:1.
You can also add some charcoal, sunflower seeds and perilla seeds.
Note:
The production of rotten leaf soil needs to make the leaves a little smaller, tear them up as much as possible, and then use them after they are mature.
Charcoal is best made from wood and needs to be broken into pieces.
Sunflower seeds and perilla seeds should be fried before they can be used.
The above items can be used after mixing them evenly.
These are some of Huahua's tips about the distribution of soil in magnolia, which I will share with you.
