After working in Lishan for 21 years, Ah Bao, who raised mountains by farming, was very worried about the misappropriation of Taiwan's agricultural land and the lack of income of farmers to make ends meet, so she gave up her life in Yinshan and became a social carrier in the struggle to join the WTO.

Po believes that when competing on the WTO scale, Taiwan's staple food, miscellaneous grains and other crops are indeed not competitive, but because of the demand for fresh-keeping, especially local vegetables, they are less threatened by the low prices of imported goods. Therefore, her demand for "friendly farming" is, on the one hand, different from the traditional organic thinking, which is more caring for the earth; second, to find irreplaceable market value for the scale of small farmers, after all, standing on the scale of the earth, the shorter the distance from the place of origin to the dining table, the more competitive it should be. More importantly, when every consumer spends with environmental awareness, he or she will be able to solve the structural problems of the larger self through changes in the childhood.

Po's first fire was lit at Ilan Social University, and the course on "friendly farming" was very popular, attracting many friends who were concerned about agriculture. In addition, the "Big House Friendship Fair" held every other week allows local farmers to face consumers in person, and when the farmer's story becomes a topic on the dinner table, the matter of eating is not just between the mouth and the mouth, but with compassion for the sweaty farmers. In addition, they cooperate with restaurants and schools, and have a flexible dialogue with the government to broaden and deepen the perspective of consumers. Po said that in those years, "if she had the help of God," the thoughts in her mind were flames, directly igniting the key issues of agriculture, and her partners worked together to let wildfire start a prairie fire for many years, and the "Food and Agriculture Education Law" and the "Environmental Education Law" were legislated separately to make Taiwan's civic education more complete.

Liu Guanmiao, a partner who worked together in Ilan, said that A Bao is a person who has no desire, and because she has no selfish desires, the environment under her words is more persuasive. Another partner, Lai Qingsong, said that Po is always at the forefront of the agenda, because she has a strong sense of mission, so even if she does not like to cooperate, compromise, and communicate with others, she still tries her best to do it.

Po also claims to be a loner. She kept making public appearances in Ilan in those years, hoping to share her views with everyone. Agriculture is closely related to our lives, but this territory has always been coveted by the interests of other industries, and the country does not care that agriculture is sacrificed. "Why can the government help us make such a decision? As consumers, we don't care, so I have to start with education to arouse the awareness of consumption. " Po said.

On the one hand, we are engaged in a steady hundred-year education plan, on the other hand, we also need a plan to save agricultural land. after all, the farmland policy is terminally ill and cannot wait for the recuperation of education. As a native of Ilan, A Bao personally saw the splendor of thousands of rivers and months in her childhood. Those paddy fields are the most beautiful scenery in Ilan and the source of her life. However, after the opening up of the sale of agricultural land and the relaxation of the regulations on the construction of farmhouses, a luxury farmhouse was planted in the paddy field, and the farmland disappeared because of the "construction of land." the speed was shocking to her. Wanting to do something for her hometown, she set up a "workshop on guarding Ilan" to protect farmland.

Li Baolian struggled to improve farmland pollution (upstream and downstream information), asking the government to amend the law and control the farmhouse.

After studying the law, A Bao knows that the Agricultural Development Ordinance is the basic Law, and the measures for the Management of farmland Construction is a sub-law. although local organs can enact local autonomy laws, they cannot contravene the laws of the central government. Ah Bao proposed that many Ilan farmhouses are built "not in compliance with the central laws and decrees". For example, farmhouses can only be built by natural persons who are actually engaged in agricultural production, but civil servants sit in their offices and look at the ownership of farmland. There will be no on-site inspection of farming.

For example, the construction of farmhouses cannot affect agricultural production or rural development, but luxury farmhouses are often built in the middle of the fields, the farmland is cut into pieces, and there is no room for agricultural machinery to turn or operate, which is tantamount to putting an end to the possibility of agricultural land use.

However, these questions were never answered by the government, and the partners who only wanted to make soft demands had to be forced to protest in the streets, launch joint signatures and hold press conferences.
