Black Master is a kind of beautiful succulent plant with black leaves, and it derives more varieties, which are often more attractive. Varieties like plum blossom Qiandi have high ornamental value. Even if we don't let them bask in the sun often, as long as they have enough scattered light, the color of their leaves is also very attractive, and as long as they are planted and cultivated, it is easy to achieve a long shot.

As the black mage's vitality is tenacious, it is easy to plant and survive, so the black mage we buy online is usually shipped by merchants with bare roots. So, how does the naked root black mage work? After the seedlings are in hand, we usually only need to trim the roots and get ready for potting. Because the black mage is easy to survive, it can be said to be able to live as much as he wants.

On the way of transportation, the bare root black mage of online shopping is often easy to cause its capillary roots to become dry, and some leaves of the plant may also show a little green, in fact, this is a normal phenomenon, it does not mean that there is a problem with the plant or that it is difficult for the plant to survive. However, it is generally recommended to trim the dried capillary roots and put them on the basin after drying the roots. Otherwise, after watering these dry capillary roots, it is easier to cause decay and breed harmful bacteria, causing infection to the plant.

However, if the bare root seedlings we received are relatively fresh, there is generally no need for deliberate root pruning, just a simple treatment. And it doesn't matter if the leaves turn green and soft, as long as the plant resumes rooting after potting, these phenomena will gradually disappear, thus allowing the plant to return to its normal growth state, and the leaves will soon turn black and stand up.

While drying the roots, we can first prepare pot soil for it, and it is recommended to use a mixed substrate with high looseness, strong air permeability and strong water permeability to pot. It is generally recommended to use half of the river sand, general nutritious soil, mix well and use. Then we wet the mixed matrix with water and mix it well again to keep the basin soil semi-dry and semi-wet. Of course, it is recommended to add a little bit of carbendazim to the water and pour it into the soil so that it can be disinfected and sterilized to avoid rotting roots caused by root infection.

Next, we can prepare a deeper flowerpot for the black mage to plant, because the black mage's root system is very developed, not only the main root, but also many capillaries, if it is properly planted in a deep pot, it is more conducive to the distribution of the root system. But before putting on the basin, it is recommended to put some cinder or large particles of ceramsite on the bottom of the basin to improve the filtration effect of the basin bottom. Then we add an appropriate amount of basin soil to the basin, plant the black mage after trimming and drying the roots, and fill the basin soil around the plant at the same time.

Since we are using the method of putting wet soil on the basin, the black mage should not rush to water it after it has been planted. First, put it in a sunny place with sufficient scattered light and ventilation to slow down for a period of time, and wait until the basin soil dries with a small amount of water to maintain the humidity of the basin soil. Generally, the first watering can be carried out after a week, but it is recommended to drop a few drops of rooting agent into the water, shake it well and then pour it into the basin soil, which is more conducive to plant rooting. Until the black mage takes root smoothly, we will gradually increase the light and restore the normal water supply, and then we can manage it according to the normal maintenance method.
